Starburst Coin Arcade Auction Pricing
November 8, 2003
Introduction
I once again attended the Starburst Coin auction in Toronto. I wrote a fairly lengthly article about the last auction which can be read here. This article contains mostly photos of the auction and the pricelist. For info about how the auction runs or any other interesting tid bits, please e-mail me or take a look at the first article.

We took our sweet ride, a bunch of junk and hit the road.

At the auction me and James got to "play test" everything. Lots of fun! I met a couple people at the auction that had heard of my site. One guy introduced himself as Chris and after I got talking to another guy named Jonathan (not me), he'd seen it too. It makes me wonder how many people knew me there, but didn't say anything...a little freaky. Naw, it was neat meeting people in real life through my website.
Play testing was great. We both got to try out one of those buck a play ski machines. We'd both never tried them because of the cost, but we finally got the chance - and for free! There was an original centipede there and another game in a defender cab. We played a whole bunch of games before the auction started at 11:30.
Before the last auction my dad suggested I make up some business cards to hand out. I thought the idea was ridiculous. Then someone wanted info about my website and I had nothing to give them. So this time I made up some cards and actually handed a couple out.
After the auction we went downtown. Finding parking was...interesting. We finally found a place that was only $2/hr. Ripoff, oh well. We visited some interesting stores including the one seen in the photo below.
Price List
Another reason to go to the auction was to publically list the pricelist. When I was looking around for Starburst Auction info before, I found a pricelist and it was incredibly helpful. So once again, here's the Starbust Auction pricelist, as accurate as I could keep it. (Click for Higher Res Image)
Next auction is Dec. 13, 2003. I probably won't be going, but if I do and you see me - please say hi. It makes things interesting and then I have something to write about in the article =).
