Day Five: August 21
I tried out Michael's kayak and that was fun. Later that
day we played a 7 hole mini-put course someone had constructed at another
campsite. They left a golf ball and a stick carved to be a putter. We
also explorer some cliffs and did a bit of rock climbing. You get a great
view from the top of the cliff.
Day Six: August 22
There was a huge storm in the night. Some very old trees
were only loosely rooted to the rocks and they were ripped up! In the
photos you can see the 20ft root system. Without the trees, the campsite
is probably ruined unfortunately.
Day Seven: August 23
Miscelaneous photos on the day we arrived back. Over the course of the trip some moose appeared very close to our campsite and we saw that giant turtle. With the topographical map we have, it's easy to see where good climbing spots might be and climbing the cliffs was lots of fun. Deffinately a great trip and I can't wait to do it again next year.
